God's Gladiators - 11am

Sermon Text: 1 John 3: 2KJV Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Point 1: God’s Gladiators have to battle the culture Romans 12: 2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…

Point 2: God’s Gladiators have to fight the battle of going it alone
Ecclesiastes 4: 9 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up, but pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Deut 32: 30 One can put a thousand to flight two can put ten thousand to flight

Point 3: God’s Gladiators have to fight the battle for their wife/family  

Point 4: God’s Gladiators have to fight wounded 2 Cor 6: 4…in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; (5) in beatings, imprisonments, and riots; in hard work, sleepless night and hunger…(9) known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten and yet we live on…
Life Application:
1.  Accept your special relationship with God through Jesus Christ
2.  Fight and don’t ever give up

3.  Remember you are man…already but not yet…in process
