Under Construction (11am)

Sermon Text: Phil 1: 6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry to completion until the day of Christ Jesus

Sermon Title: Under Construction

Point 1: The work is good vs. 6…he who began a good work…
Galatians 6: 9 Let us not get weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
James 1:3 says because you know that the testing of your faith develops  perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, no lacking anything.

Point 2: The work is work vs. 6…he who began a good work
Ephesians 2: 8 - 10 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good work, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Point 3: The work is His vs. 6…he who began a good work…
Each day wake up and ask God two questions
1.  What do you want me…?
2.  Who do you want me…?
1 Corinthians 6:20 you were bought at a price…

Point 4: The work will be completed vs. 6…he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion
Psalms 139: 16 your days were ordained
Jeremiah 1: 5 said you called me before he was even born.
