Love God Love People 3 - 830am

Sermon Text: Luke 15: 3 - 3 Then Jesus told them this parable:  

Sermon Title: Love God, Love People – Part 3

Point 1:  Seeks with passion vs. 4  “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?

Point 2:  Scans with persistence vs. 8 “Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?

Point 3:  Searches with patience vs. 20 So he got up and went to his father. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.

Life Application –
1.  Pray the Lord leads you to unbeliever
2.  Hand out the free ticket to the Invitation
3.  Sign up to canvas an area

4.  Ask God for a deeper desire for the lost

Pursue Your Passion! 11am

Pericope: 1 Samuel 30: 3 - 8

Sermon Text: 1 Samuel 30: 8 and David inquired of the Lord, "Shall I pursue this raiding party? Will I overtake them?"

Sermon Title: Pursue Your Passion!

Point 1: Define your Passion/Purpose vs. 3 When David and his men came to Ziklag, they found it destroyed by fire and their wives and sons and daughters taken captive.
           
Point 2: Prompting from God vs. 8 and David inquired of the Lord shall I pursue this raiding party? Will I overtake the?" "Pursue them," he answered. You will certainly overtake them and succeed in the rescue."

Point 3: Realize Pain comes from Passion vs. 4 So David and his men wept aloud until they had no strength left to weep.

Point 4: Partner with somebody vs. 9 David and the six hundred men with him came to the Besor Ravine…

Point 5: You will Propel to victory vs. 18 David recovered everything the Amalekites had taken… Read vs 16 - 20

Life Application:
As you move forward in life remember to do the following:
1)    Define and follow your passion it will fuel your future
2)    Please God by using your passion for God's glory

3)    Don't let anyone stop your forward progress…
