 830 Sermon. 
Sermon Text: 2 Samuel 9: 1 David asked, “Is there anyone still left of the house of Saul to whom I can show kindness [favor] for Jonathan’s sake?”

Sermon Title: Favor Find Me! Pt 5 It’s at the Table

Point 1: Covenant correctseverything. Vs 1 David asked, “Is there anyone still left of the house of Saul to whom I can show kindness [favor] for Jonathan’s sake?” 1 Samuel 18: 3 Then Jonathan made a covenant with David, because he loved him as his own soul

Point 2: Stay close vs. 3, 4 Ziba answered the king, there is still a son of Jonathan; he is crippled in both feet.” (4) “Where is he?” the king asked Ziba answered, “He is at the house of Makir…in Lo Debar (5) …King David had him brought from Lo Debar

Point 3: Carry your cripple self to the table vs 7 “Don’t be afraid,” David said to him, “for I will surely show you kindness[favor]… (8) Mephibosheth bowed down… (13) …Mephibosheth lived in Jerusalem…he always ate at the kings tablecrippled in both his feet
1.  Provision …being at the kings table mean you will be provided for, for the rest of your life
2.  Protection …being at the kings table meant no one can harm you…you are the kings guest
3.  Parchment …the table cloth covers the legs of the Mephibosheth

Life Application: Remember God has not forgotten about you
