Scripture text: Acts 5:3 Then Peter said, Ananias, how is it that Satan has filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land.

Sermon Title: Your Secret Is Out!

     Point 1. Secret sin will destroy you  vs. 1-2

But a man named Ananias, with his wife sold a piece of property, and with his wife's knowledge he kept back for himself some of the proceeds and brought only a part of it and laid it at the apostles' feet.

Point 2.  Your secret sin is not a secret vs.3

     3 Then Peter said, "Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land".

Point 3. God has no secrets vs. 11

     Great fear seized the whole church and all who heard about these events.

Psalm 51: 7 says Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow

1 John 1:9 says If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Ephesians 1:7 Says In Him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace

Isaiah 1:16 Tells us to wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil.

Psalms 51:10 says Create in me a clean heart, O god and renew a right spirit within me.
