The 90/10 Principle: Release the Seed - 830AM Sermon

Sermon Text: 2 Corinthians 8:12 NIV, 12 For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.
Sermon Title: The 90/10 Principle: Release the Seed
Point 1: Condition 2 Cor. 8:1-2, And now, brothers and sisters, we want you to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian churches. 2 In the midst of a very severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity.
a)  Great affliction of condition
b)  Great poverty beggars (Macedonian church)
Point 2: Commitment towards the right thing – not wrong thing Giving takes a level of commitment to God.
a)  Give your all In their riches of their liberally abundant gives
b)  Give beyond your ability not adding up but by faith
c)  Give willingly vs. 3-4, For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own, 4 they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the Lord’s people.
d)  Give yourself to Him vs. 5, And they exceeded our expectations: They gave themselves first of all to the Lord, and then by the will of God also to us.
Point 3: Call compelling appeal vs. 7, But since you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you[a]—see that you also excel in this grace of giving. vs. 9, For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.
Life Application:
1.  Give it first and challenge your faith. God is moved by principles not good intentions. Do the 90 day Tithe challenge
2.  Do it now

3.  If you are tither go to the next level partner with God OJHS more souls/catch up
