Play Your Hand!

Text: Matt 25: 15 To one he gave five talents of money, to another two talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey.

Hand 1: vs. 16, 20 The man who had received the five talents went at once and put his money to work and gained five more.
a)  Free to fail! Jude 24 To him who able to keep you from falling…without fault
b) Free to choose! Joshua 24: 15…then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve
c)  He was expected to try. Prov. 6: 9-11 How long will you lie there…a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest and poverty will come on you like a bandit…

Hand 2: vs. 22 The man with two talents also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two talents: see, I have gained two more.’
a)  Life! John 10: 10…I came that you might have life and that you might have it more abundantly…
b)  Legacy!
c)  Lucre!

Hand 3: vs. 24 “Then the man who had received the one talent came. ‘Master,’ he said, “I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.”

Life Application:
1.   Take the one...
2.   If you already know Him as Savior and Lord…
3.   If you lost a few rounds in life…
