Text: Genesis 32: 28 Then the
man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, Israel, because you have
struggled with God and with men and have overcome.”

Title: The Other Side of God!
Point
1: Where
you see the other side of God is The
Place of God vs. 20, 22 20 and you
shall say, ‘Moreover, your servant Jacob is behind us.’” For he thought, “I may
appease him[c] with the present that goes ahead of me, and afterward I shall
see his face. Perhaps he will accept me.” 22 That night Jacob got up and took
his two wives, his two female servants and his eleven sons and crossed the ford
of the Jabbok

2: Seeing
the other side of God is the Process
of God vs 27 The man asked him, “What
is your name?” Jacob he answered. Then the man said, “Your name will no longer
be Jacob, but Israel,”

The Point of seeing the other side of
God. vs.
24…he touched the socket of Jacobs hip so that his hip was wrenched…28 …because you struggled with God and with men and have overcome.”
Life
Application:
1. Hold
on to God no matter what
2. Be
proud of your limp
3. Wear
your new name proudly
4. Name
your new place in God…Penial, Bethel, You did it God…
