Pericope: Exodus 14: 10 - 31

Sermon Text: Exodus 14: 31 And when the Israelites saw the great power the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and put their trust in him and Moses his servant.

Sermon Title: Living on the Edge: My Deliverance Will Come

Point 1: The Edge of Deliverance also means the edge of desaster
vs. 10(a) As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them.

Point 2: God is the conductor vss. 17, 18 I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them…(18) The Egyptians will know that I am the Lord when I gain glory through Pharaoh…

Point 3: Dismiss your fear vs. 13…Do not be afraid

Point 4: You must move forward vs. 15…Tell the Israelites to move on…

Point 5: Deliverance requires dependence on God vss. 22, 31 when the Israelites saw the great power the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and put their trust in him
