Point 1: Choose the positive vs. 3 - 3 We put no stumbling block in anyone’s path, so that our ministry will not be discredited.

Point 2: Continue the journey vs. 4 - 4 Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses;

Point 3: Combat the problem vs. 7 -  7 in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left;

Point 4: Keep an open heart vs. 12 - 12 We are not withholding our affection from you, but you are withholding yours from us.


Point 5: Clear the air vs. 13 - 13 As a fair exchange—I speak as to my children—open wide your hearts also.

Point 1: This is an Opportunity vs. 7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us



Point 2: Opposites Attracts 6: 8 – 10 …bad report good report…genuine imposter…known yet regarded as unknown…dying yet living…beaten not yet killed…sorrowful yet always rejoicing…poor yet rich…having nothing yet possessing everything



Point 3: Keep your eyes wide Open vs. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.



Point 4: It’s almost Over 16…outwardly we are wasting away…inwardly I am being renewed.




Point 5: God is a God of Outcomes vs. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
