Where is Your Manger?

Sermon Text: Luke 2: 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped in him cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
Sermon Title: Where is Your Manger?
1st Place The Place of your sins Genesis 2: 8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Adam and Eve didn’t want to admit it but they needed God to show up to forgive them of their sin.
2nd Place In Your Wrestling for a blessing Genesis 32: 26 Then the man said let me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.” At the very moment Jacob needed a blessing the most—God showed up and wrestled with him.
3rd Place In Your Calling Exodus 3: 4 When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!” And Moses said, “Here I am.” God called Moses when he least expected. He was a rejected Prince of Egypt. He was 80 years old. He had 40 years to think about how his future was already fixed for success then he blew it when he was an Egyptian Prince. Now he was just a farm hand for his father in law. The last thing he would think would happen to him was to get a call from God.
4th Place In the Wilderness Exodus 13: 21, 22 By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people. Even in the Wilderness God still does not leave His people without the manifestation of the manger.
5th Place In Your Need for Direction 1 Kings 19: 12 After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper [KJV still quiet voice] When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. Then a voice said to him… Elijah was distressed and depressed.
6th Place In Your Storm Mark 4: 39 And he arose and rebuked the wind and said unto the sea, Peace be still, and the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. The disciples were on a journey. They were on their way and Jesus was on the trip with them. The revelation is even though Jesus was on the journey with them it didn’t stop the storm.
Conclusion: He said I will never leave you nor forsake you. He said seek him while he may be found…
