The Best is Yet to Come!

Sermon Text: Exodus 5: 23
Sermon Title: The Best is yet to Come!


Point 1: God has a Plan vs. 22 Moses returned to the Lord and said, “O Lord, why have you brought trouble upon this people? Is this why you sent me?
Exodus 3:18…go to the king of Egypt and tell him you want to take a three day journey into the desert to offer sacrifices to your God.


(a)  God is not complicated. 3 John 2  beloved I wish above all things that you prosper even as your soul prosper.
b) God always has a plan for our lives. Jeremiah 29: 11 For I know the plans I have for you plans to prosper you and not harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future. Many are the plans of man but God… God knows the end from the beginning.
(c) God’s plan will take time.

Point 2: The Enemy has a Hard Heart vs. 23 Every since I went to Pharaoh to speak in your name, he has brought trouble upon this people, and you have not rescued your people.
(a)        This is a war between Moses and Pharaoh
(b)       We are working in spiritual warfare.
(c)        God is working things out even in the harden hearts of men.


Point 3: It Ain’t Over vs. 23b and you have not rescued your people at all [yet].
(a)  get worst before they got better.
(b)  A must happen before B
(c)  The very ones said you cant will be the ones God turn your way
Conclusion:
