iWorship Pt 4

Pericope: 2 Chronicles 20:1- 3, 6, 14a ,24  After this, the Moabites and Ammonites with some of the Meunites came to wage war against Jehoshaphat. 2 Some people came and told Jehoshaphat "A vast army is coming against you from Edom from the other side of the Dead sea. 3 Alarmed, Jehoshaphat resolved to inquire of the Lord, and he proclaimed a fast for all Judah. 6 and said; "Lord, the God of our ancestors " are you not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you.  14a   Then the spirit of the Lord came on Jahaziel son of Zechariah, 24 When the of Judah came to the place that overlooks the desert and looked toward the vast army, they saw only dead bodies lying on the ground; no one had escaped.
Scripture Text: 2 Chronicles 20: 15 He said Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army.  For the battle is not yours, but God's.
Point 1. The preparation of worship

Point 2. The protocol of worship
Here are 3 things that we can do to prepare ourselves for worship;
1. Pray that God will open up your heart to hear him
2. Think about His sacrifice on the cross for you
3. Begin to focus on His goodness toward you

Psalms 100 says Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God.  It is he who made us, and we are his we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.  For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Point 3. The presence of worship

Point 4. The power of worship

Point 5: The providence of worship
·       Prosperity
·       Peace

·       Protection
