Point 1: Accept the fact
you have been forgiven. Vs. 7 In him we
have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with

Definition: Forgiven the forgiveness of sins—Greek, “the remission of our transgressions”: not merely
forgiveness…it includes not only deliverance from sin’s penalty, but from its
pollution and enslaving power, negatively; AND the reconciliation of an

dead-end alleys and dark dungeons. He’s set us up in the kingdom of the Son he
loves so much, the Son who got us out of the pit we were in, got rid of the
sins we were doomed to keep repeating
Point 2: The verdict is
in not guilty
Definition: redemption—Greek, “our (literally, ‘the’) redemption”; the redemption which is the grand
subject…namely, from the power, guilt, and penal consequences of sin (Mt 1:21).
If a man were unable to redeem himself from being a bond-servant, his kinsman
might redeem him (Le 25:48).

The
payment through his blood—(Eph 2:13); as the
instrument; the propitiation, that is, the consideration for which He, who was
justly angry (Is 12:1), becomes a substitute the price paid to divine justice
for our sin
Point 4: Freedom to live a new and different life. I am a work of art. Ephesians 2: 10 For we are God’s workmanship, created in Jesus Christ
to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do
“IN CHRIST WE HAVE REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD…”
