Sermon Text: Ephesians 1: 7 In him we have
redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the
riches of God’s grace
Sermon Title: The Non Refundable Zone
Point 1: Purchased vs. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins,
in accordance with the riches of God’s grace
redemption—Greek, “our (literally, ‘the’) redemption”; the redemption namely, from the power,
guilt, and penal consequences of sin (Mt 1:21). If a man were unable to redeem
himself from being a bondservant, his kinsman might redeem him (Le 25:48).
Hence, the Son of God became the Son of man, that as our kinsman He might
redeem us (Mt 20:28).
Point 2: Possession God
purchased us not just so He could free us from sin but posses us.
Point 3: We are God’s workmanship. We are

2: 10 For we are God’s workmanship, created in Jesus Christ to do good works
which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Conclusion: God purchased us out of the Non
Redeemable Zone. Jesus gave us the receipt. God possessed us. Finally God
repurposed us for His glory.
