for God 2 Chr 26:16 But after Uzziah
became powerful, his pride led to his downfall. He was unfaithful to the Lord
his God, and entered the temple of the Lord to burn incense on the altar.
But Uzziah’s life isn’t so far removed from
our own life experiences.
• Life gets safe, so we let down our guard
• Life gets rewarding, so we get arrogant
• Life gets easier, so we get lazy
• Life gets prosperous, so we get selfish

1.
Keep a Balance in Life
Proverbs 30:7-9 Two things I ask of you, O LORD; do not refuse me before I die: Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, ‘Who is the LORD?’ Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.
