Don't Tap Out Pt 2

Sermon Text: Galatians 6: 9 Let us not get weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Sermon Title: Don’t Tap Out Pt 2 [I’m]Tired of Doing Right?!

Point 1: Don’t stop loving 1 Peter 4: 8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

Point 2: Don’t stop giving Luke 6: 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Malachi 3: 8 Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me. But you ask, ‘How do we rob you?” In tithes and offerings. Haggai 1: 5 – 11

Point 3: Don’t stop forgiving Matt 18: 21 – 22 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?” (22) Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

Explanation: To really understand this text you have to break it down and add the other verses. This text is nestled in the middle of Paul talking about the harvesting habits of God. Vs. 7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. (8) The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. (9) Let us not become weary in doing [sowing] good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not [stop sowing] give up.

Life Application:
1. Write the person(s)…
2. Keep giving…
3. Write the person(s)
