Point 1: Seed Producer – 2 Cor. 9:10 - 10 Now
he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and
increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.
Gal 6:7,9 - 7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be
mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for
at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.Genesis 8:22 - 22 “As
long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and
winter, day and night will never cease.”
Context: Matt 13:3-4 –
God is the sovereign sower…God does not discriminate. God gives according to your ability…

compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Context: Matt 13:4-8 Jesus wanted us
to see in the parable the power of the seed not just the soil it was sown
in.

Point 4: Sole Sower – Matt 13:8 - 8 Still other seed fell on good soil, where

Isaiah 55:10-11 -

without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields
seed for the sower and bread for the eater, 11 so is my word that goes out from
my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and
achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
